Project Awarded | Islamic Media Ethics

We are pleased to share that the project Islamic Media Ethics in the Digital Age: AI-Powered Solutions for Combating Misinformation and Promoting Constructive Cross-Cultural Dialogue has been awarded funding.

This interdisciplinary project brings together expertise in Islamic media ethics, artificial intelligence, and natural language processing to address misinformation, algorithmic bias, and digital polarization through culturally grounded and socially responsible approaches.

The project will develop an AI-powered Islamic fact-checking system built on authentic sources and informed by intercultural ethical frameworks, while also advancing a digital literacy initiative that integrates Islamic values with AI-enhanced educational tools. Together, these efforts aim to strengthen media literacy, support responsible use of AI, and promote more constructive cross-cultural dialogue across communities.
